Suzuki - affordable dependability
Suzuki Motorcycles can be found in the world motorcycle encyclopedia under affordable dependability. Whether you are looking for a hot street performer, or the all-terrain dirt scavenger; Suzuki has something in store for you. Where to begin, with such a long variety of choices? Well, why not start somewhere nears the beginning.
The Suzuki Hayabusa has been called the fastest super-bike in the world by a number of sources. The best years with the least restrictive governments constraints enforced on them are the 99′ and 00′ models; but with the accessibility of performance Suzuki motorcycle parts and Suzuki motorcycle accessories it would not be difficult to transform any year into an insane street burner.
Of course probably one of the most commonly seen versions today is the Suzuki GSXR, which is a sweet introductory bike for the trained beginner. Usually rated at 600cc’s this bike is relatively quick for its engine size, but yet manageable enough to survive a road trip if the driver knows when to say enough is enough. There are bigger beasts out there, like the GSXR 750cc; so worry not about where to go shall you ever be bored by the 600.
Many motorcycles enthusiasts are rather disinterested in the super-bike look and feel, and prefer an all around sturdy touring sport bike. The Suzuki M109R happens to be such an animal. Featuring a Twin-V engine and 120 horsepower, the M109R is both futuristic and classic all at the same time. Talk about some “BIG” pipes; the M109R looks like it means business and once you add in the 4 ? inch pistons, there is no question that this bike is meant to be taken seriously.
Off the street and into the dirt you will find some nice Suzuki ATV’s and a wealth of Suzuki ATV parts to go with just about any project you are working on. Don’t forget that when I say Suzuki parts and accessories, often times they can be retro fitted onto other varieties as well by a knowledgeable professional; so Suzuki owners don’t necessarily have to have all the fun.
Take those two wheels and attach two more and what you get is the Suzuki Samurai. Now, I am not particularly fond of these, but if you are looking for a cute jeep alternative, the Samurai is probably about as close as you are going to come by. Better yet if your financial situation suits would be the Suzuki Grand Vitara which is more along the lines of a true 4X4. It does have a 2.0 liter turbo-diesel engine and selectable four-wheel drive, so actually experiencing an off-road excursion is entirely fathomable as compared to the Samurai. The Vitara seats either five to seven people, and is quite a ground breaking vehicle as compared to Suzuki’s prior off-road choices.
Of course Suzuki would be crazy if they did not have their hand in the sub-compact cookie jar along with most other Japanese vehicle manufacturers, and the Suzuki Swift was their current offering. It is obvious when you drop by the Swift website that they had marketed this compact with the idea of an edgy performance flair, but do not be fooled as performance has very little to do with Swift’s overall characteristics. With upwards of 70 horsepower you are just going to be mainly concerned with getting from point A to B with as few hillsides as possible. But all in all the economy of the swift just might save you enough money to buy a super car someday if you hold out over the long haul!
